Paul and I decided to spice up the summer by buying bikes ($470 bikes to be exact!!!). For Memorial Day we went on a bike ride from my apartment in Provo to Bridal Veil Falls. The trail was 18 miles round trip. It was pretty simple and it was beautiful day to be outside. However, 18 miles was probably not the best thing to do after 10 years of not riding a bike. Paul had an advantage since he actually rides the bike at the gym. The only advantage I had was, well, I guess I didn't have an advantage. Let's just say that it hurts to sit down and it hurts to bend over. Yes, I have a sore bum and sore legs. I don't know if I will be able to get out of bed tomorrow! Oh well!

The count down for the last day of school is coming to a close. This Friday is the last day and for the most part, I am done teaching. We just have a Field Day, Dance Festival, Talent Show, and promotion to get through. I am excited and can't wait!
That's funny! I just told Denis a couple days ago that I wanted one of our goals this summer to be to ride our bikes from here to Bridal Veil! I hope your kids don't bite you in your sore butt, haha...jk. Have a good last day of school!
